SPECIFIC NEEDS TRAINING

 "Specific Needs " Training is geared for those who would like to be fit or stay fit and while requiring specialized attention. Workouts are designed for those such as woman who are pregnant, seniors and elderly, post injury or cardio rehabilitation or anyone with a "specific need".  A fitness/exercise training program for this population requires special knowledge and and attention paid to detail in order for the client to reap optimum benefit while feeling safe from possible injury. 

 You can be assured that experience, knowledge and particular attention is a priority while working with any client let alone a client with a "specific need".
 

Research on older adults and their afflictions illustrates that targeted resistance exercise programs can be the solution to many ailments. Resistance exercise can help delay the onset of symptoms of heart disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.

Specific exercise programs also can improve balance, prevent falls and relieve pain. Balance training and fall prevention is very important to older adults. About one-third of adults over 65 will fall in any given year, and about two-thirds of those who do will injure themselves, thousands fatally.

Being Pro-active about your health and fitness is important at any age or while experiencing any sort of condition (pregnancy, cardiac rehab or post injury).  Being fit and mobile can make all the difference in how you experience and enjoy your life.
